Helen Connor has been an Associate with Know+Do since its formation and also runs her own business delivering and facilitating workshops. She is a highly accomplished training, creative in her delivery of learning and highly skilled at engaging an audience.
Most of her career has been spent working in the Third Sector, either as an Information Officer or Manager. Wherever she has worked she has been active in championing the skills development and networking of community groups.
In 2007, she co-designed the Inspiring Enterprising Leaders seminar programme with Bernard Clarke and Andrew Ramwell. Inspiring Enterprising Leaders is a 7 day practical leadership programme aimed at managers and leaders which has now been delivered to more 300 leaders across the North of England. In 2010, Helen formed a steering group of interested agencies and delivered the first Inspiring Leaders in Kenya programme – a wonderful experience.
She is passionate about supporting people in realising that they have the skills within to make positive changes to their lives and the lives of others.
Helen’s Masters degree is in Library and Information Sciences and her particular interest was in running an information service for people with a visual impairment.
Helen lives with Paul, Seth and Duncan (her Dog) and has a season ticket for Manchester United.
