Inspiring Leaders, March-May 2011

Spread over 6 days from 23rd March until 19th May, we delivered a community leadership training programme for deprived neighbourhoods within the Inner West / North West Areas of Leeds. Commissioned by NHS Leeds the programme supported twenty-one people leading positive change in their local communities. The training concluded with a graduation ceremony in May.

Provider Readiness Programme, May–Nov. 2011

Working in partnership with two national charities, a university and a large multi-national corporation Know and Do Ltd is coordinating the delivery of a new training programme for charities in Manchester. After seeing the success of a pioneering, pilot programme for minority ethnic charities in Greater Manchester in 2010, Work Solutions and Manchester City Council have commissioned support for local mental health agencies. Using a range of experienced contracting agencies the training helps local charitable groups better prepare for the demands and rigours of contracting for services in the rapidly changing markets of health, welfare to work and justice.

Workshops

Throughout the six months to March 2011, Know & Do promoted a series of training courses under the banner of ‘Leading Change’. These one day events attracted delegates from business, public agencies and charities alike and included subjects such as:
